Stephanie began her dance training at the age of 14, after a childhood of competitive gymnastics. Within a few months, she knew dance was what she was going to do with her life.
Stephanie trained in Los Angeles at Debbie Allen Dance Academy and Yuri Grigoriev School of Ballet. In May 2020, she graduated from The Ailey School and Fordham University, magna cum laude, with a double major in Dance and History and departmental honorable mention in Dance. She enriched her education at Alonzo King LINES Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Movement Invention Project, the Gaga Intensive in Tel Aviv, and B12 Festival in Berlin.
Upon moving back to LA, Stephanie did freelance work for choreographer Chasen Greenwood, and was a company member with BrockusRED Dance Company under Deborah Brockus. She is currently a company member with Psychopomp Dance Theater under Shenandoah Harris. Recent highlights in her performance career include performing with BrockusRED in Seoul, South Korea, and at Lightning in a Bottle Music Festival with Psychopomp.
Stephanie’s choreography, ranging from shorter pieces to evening-length works, has been presented across the Los Angeles area, as well as in New York City and Atlanta.
Stephanie has taught dance classes for The Ailey School Junior Division, Steps on Broadway, Legacy Dance Academy (El Segundo, CA), The Pretenders (Santa Monica, CA), and Campbell Hall (Studio City, CA). She is currently on faculty at West LA Academy of Dance. Stephanie is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor and teaches private Pilates at Equinox Hollywood.
